My Approach
To Orthopedic Treatment
My practice focuses on the treatment of adult reconstruction of
the hip and knee. My special training and experience allow me to
skillfully treat any adult hip and knee reconstructive
condition.
I am one of the few surgeons with extensive training and
experience in revision total hip arthroplasty with major bone
loss. My area of expertise includes hip and knee replacement,
osteotomy, total joint replacement in young patients, the
comprehensive management of avascular necrosis of the femoral
head, revision total knee arthroplasty and the management of
infected joint replacement.
I utilize the Rotating Platform Knee from Johnson & Johnson,
because its design and movement most closely mimic the motion of
a healthy knee joint. In hip surgery I use the newest bearing
surfaces. In most cases I implant the metal on metal or the
ceramic on metal. I remain academically active and am currently
performing clinical trials in joint replacement. I have been
published in peer-reviewed journals and been ask to present my
published work at many nationally referred conferences.
